Wonderful smile from a 14 year old child working in a factory in Bhutan. She was suffering in a lovely way. Sorry for the expression, but she was ! Working hard and loving doing it. She spoke English nearly as Mr. S., learning it at nights.

But it is really sad she cannot smile while playing with other girls of her age.

If you want to know something more about Bhutan, please read my journal [link]

"..suffering in a lovely way" is how `anthonyasael describes the focus of his work in Work and Smile. The colour and joy in this photo take away from what should be a grave concern for all of us. Child labour is wrong..even if the child likes what they do..... Check out the rest of `anthonyasael's gallery, it's well worth it. (Suggested by *Archange and Featured by `Ghouldaddy)

To suffer is an human condition. But dignity is sublimation, through a sentiment of belonging (in pt, pertencimento, anthropology).
